Available Grants

A number of grants are available to help meet the costs of Careerforce-supported training.

Te Pou Training Grants for the Disability Sector

When the disability workforce receives high quality training, disabled people receive better support.  Te Pou's Disability Workforce Development team administers a training grant fund on behalf of the Ministry of Health to facilitate access to training for the disability sector.

These grants are available to assist employers with costs arising from their employee's participation in an approved national certificate or diploma. Trainees must be a paid employee in a disability support service that is funded by the MOH.

Applications can be made at any time and will be processed throughout the year until the funds are spent.
