Qualifications


Careerforce works with employers to develop qualifications that help support workers develop real career options.


National Certificates

  • Brain Injury Support designed for support workers who support people after brain injury in a residential or community-based rehabilitation organisation
  • Disability Information Provision (Level 4) designed for people already working in the health and disability sector as Disability Information Consultants or equivalent, and/or those wishing to pursue a career within the sector.
  • Diversional Therapy (Level 4) designed for people working as diversional therapists in a community, residential home, or hospital setting.
  • Mental Health (Level 4) designed to be a minimum qualification for people who wish to enter mental health support work, or who already work as mental health support workers


Limited Credit Programme

  • Dementia LCP supports care-givers entering the dementia residential field and represents the essential knowledge and skills required for working with residents affected by dementia.


National Diplomas

  • Mental Health (Level 6) designed for people who have already developed or wish to develop a higher level of competence in mental health support work than is covered by the Mental Health Support Work National Certificate.
