National Certificates
- Foundation Skills (Level 2) - New and improved! an introductory qualification designed for those new to the health and disability sector, and those without prior qualifications.
- Core Competencies (Level 3) - New and improved! designed to build on the existing knowledge and skills required of support workers in a variety of health, disability, and aged support contexts.
- Human Services (Level 3) designed to recognise the knowledge and skills required of support workers in the physical disability sector
- Intellectual Disability (Level 3) designed to recognise the knowledge and skills required in the delivery of disability support services.
- Newborn Hearing Screening designed for people who conduct hearing screening tests for newborn babies
- Residential (Level 3) designed to recognise the knowledge and skills required of residential-based support workers working in a health or disability setting.
- Vision and Hearing Screening (Level 3) designed for employees who conduct vision and hearing screening tests with children
- Brain Injury Support designed for support workers who support people after brain injury in a residential or community-based rehabilitation organisation
- Disability Information Provision (Level 4) designed for people already working in the health and disability sector as Disability Information Consultants or equivalent, and/or those wishing to pursue a career within the sector.
- Diversional Therapy (Level 4) designed for people working as diversional therapists in a community, residential home, or hospital setting.
- Mental Health (Level 4) designed to be a minimum qualification for people who wish to enter mental health support work, or who already work as mental health support workers
- Disability Support Assessment, Planning & Coordination (Level 5) intended for people who are new to, or are working in needs assessment and service coordination, case management, or similar roles.
Limited Credit Programme
- Dementia LCP supports care-givers entering the dementia residential field and represents the essential knowledge and skills required for working with residents affected by dementia.
National Diplomas
- Hearing Therapy (Level 5) designed for people who wish to work in the field of adult aural rehabilitation.
- Mental Health (Level 6) designed for people who have already developed or wish to develop a higher level of competence in mental health support work than is covered by the Mental Health Support Work National Certificate.
