Become a Shareholder and Have Your Say

Careerforce is a limited liability company and as such our members are referred to as ‘shareholders’.

Becoming a shareholder of Careerforce allows you to vote on governance issues at the Annual General Meeting and at any Special Meetings, and to take part in the elections for Board positions. It also gives you the opportunity to have input into Careerforce’s strategic direction.

Shareholding in Careerforce does not make you liable for any debt incurred by the ITO, and does not provide a dividend payment.

Additional Shareholder Benefits

The Careerforce Board has recently approved the following additional Shareholders Benefits

1. Being a shareholder allows you to access up to two scholarship vouchers which cover the qualification fees for a Careerforce workplace based national qualification for each year that you are a shareholder.

2. Current shareholding gives you preferential notification of new projects.
   
3. Current shareholding gives you preferential opportunity to participate in any pilots of new workbooks, DVDs and other resources.

On becoming a shareholder you are required to sign the Deed of Covenant. Upon signing you are entitled to the rights and responsibilities of a shareholder.

The cost of becoming a shareholder is $1. An annual membership fee, as determined by the Board of Directors, is also payable. This is currently $100 plus GST.

Applications should be submitted to either Joanne Gallop or Julie Jordan. If the applicant is eligible to become a shareholder based on the criteria, the application is submitted to the Careerforce Board of Directors for approval.
