Assessor Training and Workshops

Training to become a Workplace Assessor

A workplace assessor is a very important part of the national qualification at Careerforce. They have the skills and knowledge to work with trainees to complete the assessment process and assist the trainee to gain recognition for the skills and knowledge they are gaining on the job.

As well as technical qualifications and experience, assessors need to hold the unit standard 4098, and preferably 18203 and 11281, and undertake a training course on Careerforce assessment practices.

  • 4098: Use standards to assess candidate performance
  • 11281: Prepare candidates for assessment
  • 18203: Verify evidence for assessment for candidate training

Details of when training in these unit standards is next available is provided below. Careerforce will pay all costs of the training, including pre-approved travel costs if required.
