As a Careerforce registered assessor you will be contributing to a better quality of care and support in New Zealand.
All new assessors should first complete and return the Careerforce Registered Assessor Application.
Do the 4098 unit standard training
Assessors must hold unit standard 4098: Use standards to assess candidate performance. People credited with this unit standard are able to prepare for and conduct assessment, complete assessment administration and review the assessment practice.
After this unit standard has been obtained, you can apply to Careerforce to have the training fees reimbursed (up to a maximum of $340 plus gst). More information on this process will be available soon.
REAL Assessor training workshops
These workshops will contextualise the 4098 unit standard training and guide assessors through the Careerforce expectations and essential considerations. They will equip future assessors with the skills and knowledge needed to understand how Careerforce learning and assessment works. This will enable them to implement the Careerforce REAL model which focuses on respectful, efficient, applied and living training and assessment.
If you have any questions about becoming an assessor, email the Careerforce Assessor Team.
