The Whānau, Community and Social Services apprenticeship is a 21-month work-based programme designed to support the apprentice to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours required in community support roles to work alongside people, family and whānau.
The programme supports the apprentice to use tools to support autonomy, identify goals, reduce vulnerability, and build resilience or achieve aspirations.

The Diploma in Health and Wellbeing (Level 5) Applied Practice is a 20-month work-based programme designed to qualify advanced support workers who work closely and collaboratively with people and their whānau to support people with complex needs.
As an applied practice diploma, there is a requirement to complete a minimum of 200 hours practical work and much of the evidence provided in your assessments will be drawn from authentic cases from your practice.

Free enrolment is available for enrolments in the programme received via the Apprenticeship Training Agreements on or before 30 November 2024.
Applications for free enrolments cannot be considered if the applicant is already funded by other agencies, or is in receipt of other grants from any other organisation, for the activity the application relates to. Non-resident visa holders are excluded from this offer.
