Home and community support organisations and workers support people to live in their own homes. These workers provide a range of support from household management to personal cares. It’s important to ensure that our current home and community support services workforce is skilled and qualified.

Investing in training now is an investment in the future health and wellbeing of New Zealand. ACC is now specifying that 75% of the home and community support services workforce must hold a national qualification. ACC will only contract with providers who meet this requirement. Careerforce offers a range of qualifications for specialist disciplines within this sector.
