Job Description

Summer fixed term positions available within our Disability Team based in Lower Hutt. Potential for roles to become permanent.

MASH Trust supports people in their own homes, within MASH homes and in the community. We operate throughout the lower North Island, in Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua, Manawatu and Hawkes Bay regions 
With over 550 staff and volunteers, we work alongside the people we support to enable them to live fulfilling lives
The Position:
As a Community Support Worker you will be supporting clients by maintaining a high quality of life, a quality home environment, and encouraging full participation in all aspects of community daily life.
We have several summer pool positions available both fulltime and part time working across a number of houses.
These positions are fixed term from November 2022 until February 2023, start date negotiable.

You will have/be:
  • Flexibility to work all shifts (mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleepovers and wakeovers) 
  • Availability over the Christmas and New Year period is essential
  • Comfortable with assisting with personal cares
  • Hold a current full drivers licence 
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand with a minimum of six months on Visa
  • Caring and kind in nature with integrity that can provide support to those from all walks of life
MASH as an organisation will align with the government’s announcement and no longer require further Covid vaccination of our staff or volunteers from  Monday 26 September 2022
