About the Role: We currently have a part time 28 hours per fortnight position available based in Paraparaumu as a support worker with a good heart, empathy and a passion for caring for others.

The hours: Week 1: Thursday 7am - 3pm and Saturday 4pm - 9pm

Week 2: Friday, Saturday and Sunday 4pm - 9pm

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be available to work the days and hours as stated above.
  • Have a clean, full NZ drivers licence and own transport
  • Be eligibility to work in NZ
  • Have a keen interest in working with people of all ages, including those with injuries, disabilities or aged related conditions
  • Have a warm sense of humour, patience and are sensitive to the varying needs of the people we support
  • Possess strong communication skills
