Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Support Worker to Join our Palmerston North Disability team

What we can offer:

The Position:  
This is a 16 hour per fortnight position working one weekend per fortnight Saturday and Sunday 4.30pm- 11.30pm
 
You will have/be
  • A passion for people, be patient, friendly and kind
  • An understanding of Enabling Good Lives principles
  • The ability to understand, communicate and connect with people 
  • Professionalism, honesty and be a reliable team player with a flexible approach
  • Energy, enthusiasm and enjoy being part of a team
  • Assisting with personal cares when required
  • Full NZ Driver Licence as part of your role will be driving a MASH van
  • A NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing or commitment to working towards a qualification funded by MASH Trust
