Job Description

Support Workers needed in the areas of Massey, Henderson, Te Atatu and New Lynn. To to cover leave during summertime period of December to February.
The Role
We are looking for Support Workers who live around Henderson, Swanson, Te Atatu, Titirangi, Glen Eden and New Lynn, to join us on a Fixed Term basis to cover leave during the summertime period with on-going work available.
Our Support Workers are part of a dedicated and well supported team, assisting our clients to live as independently as possible in their homes with a range of different tasks that include:
  • Household tasks – cleaning, vacuuming, laundry etc
  • Meal Preparation
  • Personal care – showering, toileting, dressing etc
  • Medication oversight – prompting/supervising clients with medication
  • Mobility assistance – assisting client’s mobility with walking frames, hoists etc 
Dependent on each client's care plan. We enable clients to have the opportunity to succeed at the activities of daily living which promote dignity, self-respect and maintaining the clients quality of life and abilities. 
What you need to have
Full drivers licence, a reliable vehicle, good communication skills with clear spoken English and New Zealand residency or valid work permit essential. Only those that are shortlisted will be contacted.
