He kōrero mō te tūranga - The role
We are looking for a mental health professional to join our small dynamic team within a forensic rehabilitation and recovery residential setting. You will be working with seven clients, both male and female, in supporting their recovery journey.
As part of your role, you will be doing assessments with clients and preparing risk management plans. You will work with tangata whaiora on goals that could include budgeting, shopping, and helping them learn how to orientate and adjust into community living in areas.
You will be in involved in planning activities and programs. Part of your role will require you to support and coach Support workers, work with clinical teams and support not only colleagues but your Service Manager.
The shifts are rostered for morning (7am to 3.30pm) and afternoon (3pm to 11.30pm). This role will include working weekends.
