Job Description
He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role
Make a direct impact on the lives of Pasifika Aiga/Kainga/Fanau within the South Auckland Pasifika community and help them to reconnect and live as independently as possible. An exciting opportunity has arisen in our team for a Pasifika, Community, Support Worker where services are provided to Tangata Whaiora / Tagata Pasifika within their homes and communities This is a part time, permanent position and would suit someone with a keen interest in mental health and disability, helping Pasifika community and comes from a strong Pasifika background.He kōrero mōu | About You
You to have a thorough insight into Pasifika culture, language, and identity, particularly insight around how to be culturally respectful while maintaining professional boundaries. In addition to the above you will ideally have:- A Level 4 or 5 qualification in Mental Health and Addiction or be working to obtaining this qualification.
- Must have a Full New Zealand Driver Licence
- Be able to use IT systems confidently excel.
- Knowledge of community resources available to Pasifika people
