He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role
Reporting to our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will split the regional portfolio with a fellow Safety & Wellbeing Advisor and continue supporting and promoting excellence in safe working practices across the upper to mid North Island. Your day to day will see you providing hands on support and advice to our managers, safety representatives and kaimahi. You will gather meaningful and actionable insights through regular monitoring and reporting and korero with key stakeholders. You will offer support on safety and wellbeing project initiatives, be a subject matter expert on internal safety database portal, coordinate risk assessments, audits, and incident reports, and support our Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager with the quarterly reports.
This full-time Auckland based role comes not only with flexibility, true recognition for the work you will do but also with an opportunity for regular travel between upper to mid North Island truly connecting with key stakeholders across our key hubs, and our residential and community facing services!

You'll ideally have experience working at the advisory level supported by a relevant health, safety and workplace wellbeing qualification and an understanding of the relevant acts. Key to your success will be your positive can-do attitude, genuine passion for creating a culture of safety and wellbeing, your ability to build relationships at every level, and your capability with reporting and data. Your ability to support and educate will also come in handy.
