Job Description

We are looking for Support Workers who reside in Waikato to join us on a permanent or fixed-term basis over the summer break. If you’re caring and compassionate with a “can do” attitude and really want a job where you are making difference, this is the role for you.
Requirements
  • Must reside in New Zealand at the time of applying for the role
  • Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
  • Must have at least a restricted drivers licence
  • Must have a reliable car
  • Must be fully vaccinated (2 doses + Booster)
Pay rate starts at $22.49 - $28.25 - Dependent on qualifications being recognized by Ministry of Health We provide support between the hours of 7.00 am to 9.30 pm, 7 days a week, offering variable hours.
What is involved in the role of a Support Worker?
Our Support Workers are part of a dedicated and well supported team, assisting our clients to live as independently as possible in their homes with a range of different tasks that include:
  • Home Management – cleaning, vacuuming, laundry
  • Meal Preparation
  • Personal care – showering and assisting with toileting
  • Medication oversight – prompting and supervising clients with medication
  • Manual Handling – assisting client’s mobility with walking frames, hoists
