The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

We are looking for someone to join our Kapiti Mobile team.
Responsibilities include:

  • Medication support
  • Supporting people regain their mental health and independence
  • Comprehensive note taking and handovers
  • Providing Support for people to organise and complete cooking, household tasks, daily routines
  • Advocating for the people we support
  • Supporting people with budgeting
  • Providing culturally competent care
  • Support people with independent daily living skills
  • Supporting people to pursue their interests and attend activities and build connections with the community
  • Providing support to attend GP and specialist appointments

The Team
You will be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Pathways Wellington Respite Service teams - all with a common purpose to support people experiencing mental illness.

Shifts Include:
Role 1: Friday, Saturday 1:30pm-10pm & Sunday, Monday 7am-3:30pm
Role 2: Sunday, Monday 1:30pm-10pm & Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 7am-3:30pm

You | Mōu

We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery focused way.

  • You must hold a current full drivers' licence
  • Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
  • Do you hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or are currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent?
  • You will have good verbal and written communication skills
  • You are reliable and have good time management skills.
  • You will have impeccable attention to detail
