We’re looking for 2 experienced support workers to join us in the Intensive Mobile Community Team.

About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We have two vacancies available in the Intensive Mobile Community Team.  You will be working alongside all clinical teams, attending clinical and referral meetings.  You will be working independently to make decisions with another NGO Health provider.
You will be reporting to the Team Coach and joining our Intensive Mobile Community Team, working with a team of Support Workers – all with a common purpose of supporting people experiencing mental distress. 

Full-Time, Permanent Position Available in Manukau, Auckland.
Monday - Friday, AM Shift
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; 40 hours per week

Responsibilities include: 

  • Advocate and support whaioras to be well and thrive.
  • Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience
  • Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most
  • Foster positive change for a more positive life
  • Provide medication support for our whaioras
  • Support Whaioras with their appointments
  • Work alongside whaioras to achieve their goals

You | Mōu
We are interested to hear from people who have a caring nature and work in a recovery and strengths-focused way.

You will also have: 

  • Current full NZ driver’s licence
  • Current first aid certificate
  • Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent or working towards a level 4 qualification
