About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

We have a vacancy available  at Kelvin services .  You will be working alongside all clinical teams, attending clinical and referral meetings.  You will be supporting people to live independently in the community.  You will be reporting to the Team Coach

• Full-Time, Permanent Position Available at Manuaku, Auckland.
• Sunday -Thursday, AM Shift
• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Responsibilities include:

• Advocate and support whaioras to be well and thrive.
• Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience
• Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most
• Foster positive change for a more positive life
• Provide medication support for our whaioras
• Support Whaioras with their appointments
• Work alongside whaioras to achieve their goals

You | Mōu

• Understanding and commitment to principles of recovery
•  Current full NZ driver’s licence
• Current first aid certificate
• Applicants must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent or working towards a level 4 qualification
• Support Worker experience or similar
• Sound knowledge and understanding of the primary care sector
• Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
