Job Description

  • Join our Residential and Recovery Service based in Christchurch
  • Friday – Saturday 3pm – 11.30pm
  • Increased KiwiSaver + Healthnow card + extra annual leave + 2 wellbeing days

Work alongside tāngata whaiora to maintain physical, emotional & spiritual wellness

About the role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We have a position available on our Residential and Recovery Service, based in the Christchurch.

Hours or work are:
16 hours weekly – Friday – Saturday 3pm – 11.30pm

Responsibilities include:

  • Advocate and support people to be well and thrive.
  • Connect them with resources that support them in living well and assist them in building resilience.
  • Help people connect with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.
  • Foster positive change for a more positive life.
  • Provide medication support for our people.
  • Provide support with household management.
  • Managing a caseload and all reporting requirements.

You | Mōu

  • You must have previous experience working in a community environment and mental health and addictions sector.
  • You must hold the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent.
  • You must hold a NZ full driver’s licence.
  • Hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one within 2 months of starting.
  • You must have excellent time management and record keeping skills.
  • Have knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi
