Job Description

What does a Support Worker do? Our support workers are caring people with a commitment to providing the best possible support to our clients. Each client will have individual care requirements and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as personal care, food preparation, mobility or bowel/urinary continence care and ensure medication needs are met. The ideal candidate will:
  • Previous experience supporting people with disabilities or health needs
  • Preferably National certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 3 or Level 4 or equivalent
  • Have a Full driver's license and is fully vaccinated against COVID 19
  • Genuinely love working with people who need support, and seeing them thrive
  • Be able to work sleepovers and weekends
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand. As per the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations Order), Health and Disability workers must be fully vaccinated and comply with the booster shot requirement - We'll need to collect this evidence of your vaccinations during our recruitment process

  • Pay rates from $21.84 - $27.43 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, and sleepover hours paid at the hourly minimum wage
