Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | The role
You will be reporting to the Service and Relationship Manager and leading a team of Support Workers and working at one of our housing service.  We are looking for a leader to join the Pathways team in Barriball Street, New Plymouth locality, as a Team Coach. You will ensure the efficient and effective use of resources for the team while fostering innovation and improvement to ensure our service is the best it can be.

Full-time, Permanent role based in New Plymouth
Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. 
You will be part of an on-call roster for the region.

Mōu | You

  • Experience in Mental Health and Addiction community settings
  • The ability to work well with other services such as Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues, PHOs, the wider community and social sector
  • Full New Zealand driver’s license
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Hold a Mental health and Wellbeing certificate (level 4) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in leading and coaching a team
  • A demonstrated ability and cultural competence in working with Māori, and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
