  • Monday to Friday, 8.00am-4.30pm based in Tauranga.

Lead a caring and skilled team who provide individualised specialist support in a home like environment to one taiohi (young people).

The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi
We are looking for a Team Coach who has experience in working with taiohi and able to inspire and motivate a team through your positive, energetic and organised leadership. As well as having great leadership and people skills, you’ll also have demonstrated the ability to work well with other services such as DHBs, PHOs, and the wider community and social sector. Together with your team you will support the taiohi in a home environment to develop life skills and resilience, provide support with practical problem solving and daily life skills, supporting community connection and liaising with relevant support services, family/whānau and other providers to provide “whatever it takes and keeping it REAL” for the taiohi we support in order to grow and identify their purpose and belonging in our community so they have the opportunity to thrive.
You | Mōu
  • Registered Health professional with current registration
  • Experience in leading a team and working with taiohi with complex behaviour and an understanding of trauma-informed care.
  • De-escalation skills.
  • A current full New Zealand driver’s license.
  • A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
  • An understanding of what you need for your own wellbeing.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the principles of the Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
