Careerforce is the Industry Training Organisation (ITO) for the health, aged care, disability, mental health, social services, cleaning and pest management sectors. Our purpose is to enable the workforce to enhance people’s health and wellbeing.

Where will you be based?

You will be based in either our Wellington or Christchurch office as part of our Product Development team.

What’s Involved?

The Product Developer (Qualifications Framework) will work with external and internal stakeholders to ensure that qualifications, unit standards, and associated programmes are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the sectors that Careerforce supports.

Our ideal candidate is someone who can:

  • Work as part of a team to scope and plan the development and review of qualifications, unit standards and associated programmes.
  • Design, develop and review qualifications, unit standards and associated programmes in a creative, team-oriented and innovative environment.

You will also need to demonstrate the following:

  • A degree level qualification or equivalent experience which demonstrates your ability to analyse concepts and ideas and apply critical thinking skills.
  • Extensive experience in qualification design and development, in a tertiary education environment and/or the ITO sector.
  • Extensive experience and understanding of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) and related accreditation and moderation systems.
  • Knowledge of the role and function of ITOs.
  • Considerable experience and demonstrated competence of the MS Office suite.
  • Experience of working within a health, disability or social service context (preferred but not essential).
  • Considerable experience and demonstrated competence of the MS Office suite.
