We ran a webinar on 20 November 2018 for those who missed the face-to-face meetings and online consultation survey.

We encourage everyone to take an active role in the QPR consultation to inform the graduate learning outcomes and to ensure that qualifications are needed, remain relevant, and lead to meaningful career pathways.

Thank you to all the participants of the Webinar. If you were unable to attend, you may wish to download the slide show and notes from the webinar presentation.

The broad agenda for the meetings is:

Provide feedback

An online consultation is open  for the qualifications above from 16 July to 24 August 2018.

The survey asks whether the specifications for key features of the qualifications are relevant to the needs of workplaces in health and wellbeing settings.

When we say key features, we mean the following NZQA requirements for qualifications:

  • Strategic Purpose statements: this identifies why the qualification should be listed on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.
  • Graduate Profile statements: these describe the knowledge, skills and attributes of a graduate of the qualification.
  • Education Pathways: these identify other qualifications that a graduate could enrol in after completing the qualification
  • Employment Pathways: these identify the areas that a graduate may be qualified to work, or the contribution they may make to their community.
  • Credit Values: this represents the amount of learning in the qualification.
  • Qualification Conditions: overarching conditions relating to the qualification that any programme leading to it must meet.

This consultation is now closed. Thank you to those who submitted their feedback. We’ll be in touch regarding the next stage of the QPR.
