Job Description

He kōrero mō te tūranga | About the Role

Join our team and help create positive change in the lives of Tangata Whaiora. In this meaningful role, you'll work alongside passionate and professional teams to support individuals in building community connections and achieving their personal well-being goals.

You'll contribute to daily recovery-focused activities, drawing on client strengths and using best-practice interventions and rehabilitation strategies. Your support will help Tangata Whaiora with communication, behaviour, and daily living tasks, all guided by their individual goal plans.

The service operates 24/7, and you will be rostered across a range of shifts, including the day shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM), evening shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM), and the overnight wakeover shift (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM).

We are currently advertising for a casual position.

He kōrero mōu | About You

We'd love to hear from you if you bring along the following:

  • A Level 4 (or higher) qualification in Health and Wellbeing or the commitment to work towards one
  • Experience working in mental health, addiction, disability, or community-based support services
  • Excellent communication skills and strong cultural competency
  • A full New Zealand Driver's License and eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Must hold and maintain First Aid certification including CPR (or be willing and able to complete this)
