Our Gateway programmes will help your students gain the confidence to make informed decisions on their career pathways, and provide a smooth transition from school to work.
Foundation packages
Our Foundation packages are designed to make selecting unit standards simple. They provide a foundation of core knowledge at Levels 2 and Level 3 to give senior students experience of the health, youth, and cleaning sectors, while gaining 15 to 20 credits towards NCEA.
Units within the packages will go towards completing a full qualification if students later move into workplace training.
Learners enrolling in these packages will be introduced to their learning by a Careerforce assessor through a face-to-face or an online induction session, to ensure they feel confident about what they will experience and learn.
