iportal for learners
Careerforce programmes can be completed via paper-based learning or Aka Toi online learning, though not all programmes are available via both options. iportal is ideal for learners using paper-based learning.
The iportal allows learners to access their personal profile, employer details, assessor details and their ongoing training progress reports etc.
Only learners with Continuing and On-hold training programmes can access iportal. They can’t access the portal when their programme status is either or cancelled or terminated.
A learner with Completed training programme status can login to the portal and access qualification reports for a period of 1 month (30 days) from the completion of the programme date.

iportal for assessors
How learner results are reported by assessors depends on whether the learner submits tasks via paper-based-learning or Aka Toi.
If the learner submits tasks downloaded and printed from the Careerforce Resource Library (via iportal), i.e. paper-based, the results must be submitted via iportal. The results are displayed in real-time. Note that if the learner submits tasks via Aka Toi, the assessor doesn’t need to take any action, Aka Toi will report Unit Standard results.

iportal for employers
Employers can download reports from iportal and track their learners’ progress. i.e. their employees that are enrolled in training with Careerforce. This applies to all learners whether they are completing programmes via paper-based or Aka Toi online learning. This arrangement also exists for a parent company to access learners’ progress for all their workplaces.
