Careerforce programmes can be completed via paper-based learning or Aka Toi online learning, though not all programmes are available via both options. If you’re unsure which type of learning you will be doing, speak to your manager.

For learners completing their programme via paper-based learning, the learning materials are available free to view and download from the Careerforce Resource Library which is only accessible via our iportal.

iportal is an online portal for viewing and submitting trainee information. It allows learners to access their personal profile, employer details, assessor details and their ongoing training progress reports etc.

You must be an enrolled Careerforce learner to register on iportal: www.iportal.careerforce.org.nz . Click here to register.

Only learners with Continuing and On-hold training programmes can access iportal. They can’t access the portal when their programme status is either or cancelled or terminated.

A learner with Completed training programme status can login to the portal and access qualification reports for a period of 1 month (30 days) from the completion of the programme date.

From the iportal you are able to:

  • Check your training progression (keep track of which unit standards/modules you have completed or yet to be completed)
  • Access your Record of Learning
  • Check your “My Profile” to view your National Student Number, Address, Employer and Qualification details
  • View and download our paper-based learning materials
  • Request for follow up on any Overdue Assessments
  • Access our Training Support Page and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
  • Ask general queries
