Six unit standards have been drafted to meet the outcomes of the existing New Zealand Certificate in Public Health. These standards are based on draft public health unit standards previously developed with the help of sector representatives, with the graduate profile of the new qualification in mind. We hope that this approach will enable us to capture the good work that was previously done and allow for a timely approval process.
