Conference Registration

The registration fee is per person and includes: attendance at conference 7-8 August, morning / afternoon tea and lunch, day one and morning tea and lunch day two, conference pack and material.

A Conference Dinner/ Apprenticeship Graduation and Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, 7 August 2017 at 6.30pm.  Please indicate on the registration form if you will be attending.

Registrations close at midnight on Monday, 31 July 2017.



Join the Te Papa highlights tour on Monday, 7 August, 5.00pm – 6.00pm, and stay onsite for pre-dinner drinks at 6.30pm.  The tour is an overview of what makes New Zealand unique.  Explore our diverse natural environment, Maori culture and treasures, and our art and colonial history.  Discover this vibrant land, its dynamic culture, and the spirit of its people.



You may pay by Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard & American Express) or by direct deposit (payment instructions will be included with your tax invoice).

  • Credit Card payments are processed via our secure gateway.
  • Your credit card statement will show a debit for this registration to “Auaha Events”
  • After you submit your registration you will be emailed a Registration Confirmation and Tax Invoice.
  • All amounts are quoted and charged in NZ Dollars.

Payment is required prior to the event.  If payment is being made by direct deposit, payment must be received no later than 14 days after registration is completed.



Conference cancellations received on or before 6 July 2017 will receive a refund less an administration fee of $75.00 plus GST. No refunds will be made if cancellations are received on or after 7 July 2017. If payment has not been made at the time of cancellation the administration/cancellation fee will remain payable.

Substitutions are welcome with an additional administration fee of $25.00 plus GST and must be notified in writing.

Any amendments, substitutions and/or cancellations must be notified in writing (email acceptable) to Auaha Conferences & Events, email or PO Box 14-703, Kilbirnie, Wellington 6241. Reference ‘Careerforce Conference 2017’ in all correspondence.

Registrations may not be shared.


Image Release

In registering for this conference, delegates grant permission to Careerforce, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness. It is understood these images may be used for promotional, news, on-line/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for Careerforce. Delegates agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from Careerforce in respect of their image/likeness or its use. Delegates release, discharge, and hold harmless, Careerforce and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video. Should a delegate not agree to the above image release, they must advise Careerforce by email


Neither the Organising Committee of Careerforce Workforce Development Conference 2017 and its constituent members acting as organisers (known collectively as ‘the Organisers’), nor Careerforce or Auaha Ltd, can accept any liability for death, injury, any loss, cost or expense suffered by any person (including accompanying persons or partners or attendant caregivers), if such loss is caused or results from the act, default or omission of any person other than an employee or agent of the organisers or Auaha Ltd.  In particular, neither the Organisers nor Auaha Ltd can accept any liability for losses arising from the provision or non-provision of services provided by hotel companies or transport operators. Nor can the Organisers or Auaha accept liability for losses suffered by reason of war including threat of war, riots and civil strife, terrorist activity, natural disasters, weather, fire, flood, drought, technical, mechanical or electrical breakdown within any premises visited by delegates and/ or partners in connection with the Careerforce Workforce Development Conference 2017, nor losses suffered by reason of industrial disputes, governmental action, registrations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with the Careerforce Workforce Development Conference 2017.  Neither the Organisers nor Auaha Ltd is able to give any warranty that any published speaker or performer will appear as a speaker, panellist or performer. The organisers reserve the right to alter or amend the programme and its contents as they see fit and as circumstances dictate without further recourse to any registered delegate or attendee.

Only registered delegates will be admitted to Careerforce Workforce Development Conference 2017 sessions.  Delegate fees do not include accommodation charges.  Registration reservations are unconfirmed until payment is received.  The liability of the Organisers and Auaha Ltd shall be limited to that refund and neither shall be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, however caused, incurred or arising. In particular, neither the Organisers nor Auaha Ltd shall be liable to refund any travel or hotel costs incurred by delegates or their organisations. Delegates and accompanying partners are advised to take out comprehensive insurance, including travel insurance.
