Core Skills for Health and Wellbeing (Level 3)
This new programme has been developed to enable people to achieve the core knowledge required as part of a Level 3 programme and are unable, for various reasons, to enrol in the full programme.
Mana Taiohi Unit Standard
Youth workers can now enrol to get credited with this unit standard. This unit standard will eventually replace 22256 Describe the principles, aims and goals of the Youth Development Strategy Aotearoa.
Dementia Care (LCP) Level 4
This programme supports caregivers specialising in dementia care and represents the essential knowledge and skills required for working with people affected by dementia.
Palliative Care Assessment Package
Careerforce, with support from Hospice New Zealand has developed an assessment package to recognise the competency of the workforce providing palliative and end of life care. Support workers or health professionals who attended the Hospice New Zealand Fundamentals of Palliative Care programme or those working in a palliative care setting who want to gain recognition for their work may get assessed and credentialised through us.
Meth Screening and Sampling Micro-credential
Careerforce has developed a micro-credential to recognise the competency of the workforce providing methamphetamine screening and sampling services. It is designed for organisations that offer services to test properties and vehicles for the presence of methamphetamine.
