Job Description

  • Registered Clinicians required to work Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm.
  • Earn up to $46.15 per hour + Paid Wellbeing days + Relocation assistance offered.

Offer caring support to youth and whānau in schools and communities. Collaborating in a diverse team for individual & group session.

The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

Calling all Registered Clinicians (Social Worker/Counsellor, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Alcohol and Drug Practitioner!!

We're looking for an experienced, registered clinician to join our Real Southern Lakes Youth Service in Taupō.  A youth-focused early intervention program in the Taupō region operates within schools and the community, utilising both individual and group-based approaches.

You will align with our tikanga (principles) and kawa (practice) and support the clinical components of Whetū Marewa - Primary Mental Health.

This a permanent, full-time role, working Monday- Friday, 8.30am- 5.00pm, in Taupō.

You | Mōu

The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate:

  • experience working in mental health.
  • an understanding of local community issues and of tikanga Māori.
  • ability to develop and maintain internal and external key relationships.
  • uphold the integrity and mana of both the taiohi and kaupapa.
  • the ability to work independently and innovatively to engage young people/taiohi and whānau.
  • an inspiring and enthusiastic outlook on life
  • a current full NZ driver’s licence.
