The Role | Mō tēnei tūranga mahi

This is a permanent, part-time role working:
Week 1: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Week 2: Thursday and Friday

As a Support Worker on the Hauraki Mobile Team, you will have excellent time management and be:

  • Capable of self-managing a caseload of diverse clients living in the community.
  • Proficient in utilizing technology for efficient documentation management.
  • Skilled at working independently in the community, establishing networks with various stakeholders and services.
  • Regularly reporting to the direct line manager to ensure adequate support for the caseload.

You | Mōu

  • A current full New Zealand driver’s licence.
  • A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one.
  • Hold either the Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognised equivalent) or be willing commence study towards this qualification within six months of starting with us. We offer our staff significant support to complete this study.
  • Experience in working with young people and an understanding of trauma-informed care.
  • Both de-escalation skills and relationship building skills.
