Rhonda Sherriff represents the aged-care residential sector on the Careerforce Board, and is a Registered Nurse with 39 years’ experience. Over the last 25 years, Rhonda has worked in a variety of operational and management roles within the sector. Rhonda is passionate about the aged-care industry, ensuring resident’s welfare, their safety, staff education and competence, and safe outcomes for all clients.

Rhonda co-owns a retirement village in Christchurch, and oversees the operation on a weekly basis to ensure that residents receive optimum care and service.

Rhonda is a director of the New Zealand Aged Care Association, and also works as their Clinical Advisor, manning their helpline enquiries. Rhonda works as a consultant to the sector, assisting facilities nationally, and their senior management teams to meet compliance and audit issues.
