As required by NZQA as part of the ongoing schedule of qualification reviews, Careerforce is coordinating the review of the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Rehabilitation Support) (Level 4) with strands in Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Impairment, and Chronic Illness

We are pleased to confirm that the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Rehabilitation Support) (Level 4) with strands in Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Impairment, and Chronic Illness is now approved by NZQA and listed in the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF).

The reviewed qualification went through with minor changes that includes:

Changes to the qualification outcomes and a redistribution of their credit values.

The format of the qualification document and wording in the GPOs has been updated to reflect the current NZQA qualification development requirements.

The overall qualification credit value remains unchanged at 120 credits.

Version 2 of this qualification is now listed on the New Zealand Qualification Framework (NZQF).

Please note the last date for assessment for programmes leading to version 1 is 31 December 2023.

Related reviews of the Brain Injury strand’s unit standards are nearing completion. These reviews have been informed by the qualification review’s outcomes.
